I decided to do a cover of Depeche Mode’s awesome song “Enjoy The Silence” today. My singing is a little shaky at some points, but I felt like I sounded better than I do a lot of the time, despite having a pretty shitty cold going on right now. Check it out and let me know what you think?

New Jónsi Album
So I’m almost through with my first good listen to Jónsi, the singer of Sigur Rós’ new album Go, and so far I’m loving it.
Every time I feel like a song is starting off a little boring and isn’t going to be that good, something cool/unexpected happens and makes it really sweet. It’s a totally different sound than Sigur Rós too, so that’s awesome.
Overall it still seems to have that really triumphant, happy feel Sigur Rós pulls of so well though. Nothing wrong with that at all.
The vocals are probably the best part about the album, unsurprisingly. Jónsi does a ton of really cool stuff, and the production couldn’t be better.
Pretty cool cover art too. Definitely check this album out.
A pretty sweet video my brother took of me playing bass for White Hot Skeleton the other night at Louie’s Rocket Lounge. It was a ton of fun.
